How to find the perfect place to stay in the Heart of Kent

There are several ways to search:

1. By Place
If you know where you want to stay, either use the drop-down Location box in 'Search Accommodation' which will search for accommodation found in the vicinity of that location. Alternatively, type the name of the town or village into the Keyword field on the right of the screen.
To help you make your selection, click on the map icon at the bottom right of this screen to see a map of the towns and villages in the Heart of Kent area.

2. By Name or Special Requirement
If you have particular requirements, or know the name or the address of an accommodation establishment, use the 'Advanced Search' option.
Self-Catering Properties
If you are looking for self-catering accommodation in the area, the Heart of Kent has details of a number of independently run properties, as well as several local agencies who specialise in providing holiday homes in the area. Simply choose 'Heart of Kent' in the location search options to access their details.

How to book accommodation

Bookings can be made in one of 3 ways...
1. By Booking Online
Those accommodation establishments displaying 'Book Online' can be booked by following the step by step instructions on our secure online payment system. A booking fee of £5 is charged for this service.
Please note: In order to secure your booking, a confirmation email will be sent to you requiring your reply within 24 hours of receipt. If you are unable to check your emails within this timeframe, we recommend that you make your booking by telephone instead - either direct with the acccommodation provider or using the Accommodation Booking Service offered by the Tourist Information Centres (below).

2. Tourist Information Centre
The Tourist Information Centres in Ashford, Maidstone, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Swanley and Tenterden offer a personalised Accommodation Booking Service via email and telephone, providing information and advice on accommodation best suited to your needs. For a small fee (usually £3 per booking), they can do all the legwork for you and make a booking on your behalf.

3. Direct
Full contact details for each accommodation establishment are provided, enabling you to make your booking direct.

Quality Standards

For your convenience and peace of mind, all accommodation listed on this website has been inspected and awarded a star rating by either Quality in Tourism on behalf of the national tourist board, VisitBritain or by the AA. In a few cases, an establishment is shown as 'Awaiting Grading'. This means that the establishment is new to the inspection scheme and is awaiting inspection and notification of its star rating.
