Information for Disabled Visitors

Many of the places to visit and to stay in the Heart of Kent area have facilities for disabled visitors. Here is just a summary, but we advise you either to contact the establishment concerned direct or one of the Heart of Kent Tourist Information Centres to discuss you own individual requirements.

Car Parking
Cars displaying an orange or blue badge holders (UK residents only) can park free of charge in most of the car parks in the Heart of Kent towns. There are also wider parking bays available for badge in the main public car parks.

Accommodation
Accommodation providers are asked to provide details of any facilities for the disabled they may have available when submitting details of their property for the Accommodation Section of this website. If there are facilities available these are indicated in the accommodation establishment details. We do however urge you to check with your chosen establishment direct the actual nature of these facilities and to discuss any special requirements you may have before booking your accommodation.

Visitor Attractions
Disabled access at visitor attractions in the area is also indicated on the individual listing. Please check with the attraction direct to confirm the exact nature of these facilities before setting out.
